About Knife.io
People prefer having a choice of weaponry in games, but sometimes less is more and conveys an idea. Knife.io is about knife fighting, and each combatant has two, which dictates the style. This lets you show off talents that appear better with two blades. There is little skill to perfect, thus movement and timing are key. That's the cornerstone of most fighting techniques, however, this game simplifies it for speedier gameplay.
How to play
Learn how to play Knife.io, a top-down 2D multiplayer fighting game with mouse or keyboard controls. Recommended: keyboard due to slower mouse.
Controls: Up Arrow - Move Up, Down, Left, Right Arrows, Spacebar (basic attack)
Start in an open area with combatants around you. By employing your attacks and skills, you can attack with knives in many ways. Numbers rising from their location indicate only direct body hits count.
Collecting colorful orbs dispersed across the field earns experience points. You'll level up with experience. This will grow your fighters, increasing their damage and reach. You'll be reset to the first level if you fall during the fight.
Select your combatant on the main menu. To switch fighters, hit Random on the right.
Tricks and Tips for Knife.io
The arena is small, so you must move creatively and stay to the sides or behind opponents. Getting bigger is nice, but it gives you a bigger target, so avoid the middle. Your talents are more effective when the target's health dips below 50% due to their cooldown.
