About Monarchies.io
Monarchies.io is a game where you control queen bees. Build a hive, deposit eggs, and assign worker bees tasks. Workers scavenge flowers for nectar and pollen, nurse their brood to birth new workers, groom mites off one other, build new hive cells, and defend against wasps.
How to play Monarchies.io
- Press and hold to direct the queen bee to your desired location. You can maneuver your queen with the arrow keys.
- Flowers provide pollen and nectar.
- Nurses feed your larva pollen bee bread to start their growth into workers.
- Bee builders devour honey to build new hive cells.
Tips and tricks
- Use solo mode to play against AI-controlled bumble bees. Imitating your opponent's queen bee's play will help you understand how to play as they have the same powers.
- Pupae that hatch into worker bees belong to the nearest queen at birth, so push away any invading queens and be there when your rivals hatch their workers.
- Bee bread is made from pollen delivered to your colony. Bee food helps larva become pupae and adult workers.
- To enhance pollen collection, place fresh hives on flowers.
- Enable 'Swarm' mode to collect workers before an alarm pheromone attack.
- Use assault mode when wasps are around. Without being toggled to attack, your workers will not do damage.
- Keep mites out of your hive. They'll breed and destroy your brood. Push them aside and toggle attack to kill them fast.
