How to play Openfront.io
The goal is to gain as much territory as possible and defend your current area from invasion by other nations. Win by capturing 72% of the map. Expand your dominion by clicking nearby terrain. You can use lower or higher attack ratios early to conserve forces or hurry up conquering.
What are OpenFront.io tips?
Elevation impacts territorial capture costs. Mountains cost more and take longer to capture than plains.
Two bars let you manage your production and military forces at the bottom left of the screen. The red bar shows the proportion of troops sent with one click. The blue bar shows your military-to-gold-producing workforce ratio.
Proposing peace agreements to other players helps secure part of your borders, develop commercial exchanges, and even ally your armies to defeat mutual adversaries.
